Sales Success Inspiration - Hello my friends and welcome to another installment of The Special Sauce Series on Sales.

Sales Success Inspiration is the name of the game today.  We left off with the last post "

No Sales! The Leads Suck! After ten years in the industry I have heard this more than once. In fact, I hear this so often that a series of educational blog posts are needed to educate sellers on how to close more deals - period.

No sales! Now, first I preface this entire post with one thought...

Would you describe yourself as a Type-A personality?  Do you eat, breathe and work your opportunity or franchise seven days?  Are you stuck in the urban jungle and can’t get out to blow off some steam?  No vacation days for that week in Costa Rica or jaunt to the Hamptons?  Are you in need of burning off some stress, challenging yourself at the same time and making yourself smile from ear to ear in the process?  My friends, I have the answer for you and it will be back in August!

So get this, in 2011 the best that The New York City Department of Transportation could come up with was dumpster pools, this year it’s a zip-line in the heart of Manhattan!  You have to love the progress made in one year from trash to zip-lines?  Impressive.

Yesterday, The New York City Department of Transportation unveiled a 160-foot-long zip-line at Union Square, one we were told was just a preview of what’s to come at their annual Summer Streets events this August. All that was needed was a signed waiver and we were off down the line after a steep climb to their platform.  It was stupid fun, even though it went from tower to ground and not tower to tower.

If you missed the zip-line, fret not, as part of The New York City Department of Transportation (NY DOT Summer Streets events), New Yorkers will have a chance to ride the zip line the first three weekends of August.  It will be erected at Foley Square in Lower Manhattan on those weekends and you can check out the NY DOT website for additional information.

Post your creative, high-fun-crazy ways to burn off stress in your city so you can keep focused on what you do best – grow your business!

Thanks so much for your time here, and as always…

P.S. If you can get out of the concrete jungle but only for a quick ride and want to get down and channel your inner monkey this summer I’d check out these guys in Hunter, NY Zipline Adventure Tour in New York and get your monkey on!
