Feeling Cooped Up This Winter?
21 Feb 10 Posted by: Kevin James Culp
in Work-From-Home

In many cases, working at home can create the best of both worlds. You can work at home and be with your family at the same time. Sometimes you can mix these two elements of your life so seamlessly that you often don’t know if you are working or enjoying watching your children grow up. Maybe you’re even enjoying watching your budding business opportunity grow if you are single.

Many, however, face a challenge that they never knew would be such an issue when they opened their new home-based business. Cabin fever for stay-at-home workers can lead to anxiety and worse health issues. It’s that claustrophobic feeling that you get when you feel that you've been cooped up for too long indoors. Staying indoors for too long can be tough to do.

Maybe you are on east coast right now and not used to big snowstorms that can have you eating canned food that you never knew you had or watching movies late at night for lack of something better to be doing. You can work for only so long. It becomes unhealthy not to change your routine from time to time. After all, you decided to work at home for one reason or another but never thought it would be a cage you wanted out of.

So, if you find yourself indoors right now you need to get out and do something other than work. This is especially true during the winter months. You might not want to go out, but it is important to go out even if it means dawning heavy coats and bulky hats. Getting some fresh air, restocking your bare shelves, building a snowman with your family or just taking a short walk can center yourself in ways you might have been missing. Go out; take a deep breath in that cold, crisp air that will fill your lungs to provide you with a sense of freshness. It’s actually very rejuvenating even when 20 below! It is not only mentally invigorating; it is also good for your body too.

Carpe Diem My Friends!

The earliest instances of 'work-from-home' that a Google Books search turns up use the phrase to mean "work away from home." Thus, for example, in The Charters and General Laws of the Colony and Province of Massachusetts, we find this provision (enacted in September 1634) "relating to the...

While wearing whatever you want is certainly a perk that many owners of work-at-home business opportunities and other small businesses enjoy, it may not be such a good idea to make wearing your jammies a habit. Cross Breeze Mobile Screens Business Opportunity: We’re a fully equipped ‘Mobile Screen’ business that can make you money plain and simple. We repair and replace window screens and screen doors and we sell and install the new retractable/rollaway screen doors. We offer a variety of screen related products like pet proof and solar screens. Easy to start, easy to own and the work is great!

We’ve been in the ‘Mobile Screen’ business since 1995. Not until 2011, did we decide to roll out our new ‘Business Opportunity’. For the past 16 years we’ve had our pulse on the screen business and we’ve been fine tuning our adjustments in order to create a turn key ‘business opportunity’ for you. We don’t think it’s necessary for you to have re-create or trail blaze in this industry. We took years to create a business model that you can simply walk into. We do not believe in franchising, nor do we think franchising in the Mobile Screen Repair business is a good idea.
