Even if you’re just rolling around the idea of buying a business opportunity or starting a small business of your own and the whole concept of marketing is something you know little to nothing about, the term “guerrilla marketing” may at the very least sound vaguely familiar. If it doesn’t, have no fear. You actually know more about what it is than you think.

Let’s put it this way…if you’re part of today’s consuming public (and we know you are), you’ve experienced guerrilla marketing in one way or another. We guarantee it.

Coined three decades ago by Jay Conrad Levinson in his then ground-breaking book of the same name, Guerrilla Marketing has become the most powerful brand in marketing history, having now spawned more than 35 top-selling spin-off books that have changed the lives and livelihoods of millions of entrepreneurs worldwide. What started out as one man’s quest to help small business owners with limited means to employ affordable and unconventional methods for finding and retaining satisfied customers actually launched a movement.

And it’s one that will define modern marketing for generations to come.
