Some of the most costly mistakes business opportunity, franchise and other small business owners make involve issues surrounding payroll and human resources. In an effort to help them sort things out free-of-charge, SCORE, America’s leading small business mentoring organization, has announced it will be partnering with Paychex, a recognized payroll, HR and benefits outsourcing leader.
Their combined effort kicks off with a webinar titled “How to Avoid 10 Payroll Mistakes That Cost Businesses Money,” which will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at 2 p.m. EST. Its focus? Keeping small business owners informed about changing payroll, employment and benefits regulations and the associated compliance issues, all of which can be very confusing to even the most informed entrepreneur.
This event is just one of what will be an ongoing series of helpful webinars designed to provide information, tools and guidance for small business owners as they adapt to the rapidly changing business environment of today.
In December, SCORE and Paychex will round out their efforts by publishing the first of two educational e-guides called “7 Questions Every Small Business Who Hires Employees Will Have to Answer,” which will help small business entrepreneurs to redefine their payroll and human resources processes.
Paychex will also sponsor the Human Resources sections of SCORE.org, enabling small business owners to further enhance their knowledge and skills through workshops, the use of mentors and other important tools.
