If you live in or near New York City and are thinking about starting your own business or buying a business or licensee opportunity, distributorship or franchise, then SCORE’s upcoming seminar, entitled “Starting Your Business: What You Need to Know,” is designed specifically for you. Taught by experienced small business owners and executives, this seminar is your opportunity to find out if you have what it takes to own a business of your own and get tips for launching and running one successfully.

The seminar takes place on the evening of Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) on West 61st Street. Registration is just $19 online in advance or $29 at the door.

In operation for nearly fifty years and comprising a network of more than 13,000 volunteers from hundreds of industries and fields of expertise, SCORE is a nationwide nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentoring. All services are provided at no charge or very low cost.
