In my previous blog posts, I’ve mentioned a free method to increase traffic on your site and create consumer awareness simultaneously vis-à-vis posting your press release on free press release web sites. Here is another proven way to receive additional free traffic to your site and create consumer awareness too. You might have to put some time and effort into it but it’s worth it.

Try Article Marketing Link Building to pump up your metrics this month. Writing articles about your home-based business, franchise or even your own personal experiences with your new venture can be beneficial in multiple ways. Once you’ve written your new article include a link to your site at the bottom. The more you write and get posted, the more back links you will receive to your site and the back links are a great way to build free traffic.

What are back links you might ask? Back links refers to the number of links that point back to your site and is very important thus it increases your rankings with search engines. Search engines use the number of backlinks and the quality of those backlinks as a determining factor of how your site is ranked. The higher the ranking the better your traffic will be. The more backlinks you have the more exposure you will have.

Another great reason to write articles about your budding  business is that it offers people a better understanding of what you do and more reason to visit your site for additional information. They can even be re-directed to buy directly from your site.

So, get started on writing an article and continue to write them. Make sure to list your site’s link at the bottom of each article. You can even list your site’s link throughout your article, receive posting on free web sites, as well as, online article directories. Remember to produce fresh content each time instead of copying and pasting from another corporate web site. You need to create a ‘reason to read’ your article. If your readers quickly scan your article only to see the same information recycled then most likely they’re not going to visit your web site, as you have not provided a real reason to do so.
