Small Business Opportunities Owners Be Smart With Your Money

Normally, you hear about big corporations going ‘offshore’ to get a better tax rate, to find cheaper products or labor as a couple of examples.
You don't normally hear of small, home-based business opportunity owners looking to outsource services offshore. I’m not recommending that in this article, but did you ever think to ask yourself what else is offshore?  Are there service providers, which if utilized properly could allow the little guy to even the playing field with the huge multinational corporations of the world?

Offshore service providers are always amazed by the diversity of the clients that they end up working with. Their clients come from every part of the world and out of very diverse economic circumstances.

Let’s explore this idea for a quick second just as an exercise in finding ways to save when making up your business opportunity budget. I formerly employed the services of a graphic designer who happened to live right up the street from me in mid-town Manhattan, way back in my former NYC publishing days. He was talented and also a great guy.  He liked to hang out after the job was done and always delivered on time. What’s not to like, right?  He was, and probably still is, an all-around nice person and I’m sure all who know him would agree. However, let’s pull up the carpet a bit and see what has been swept under - ash; now I see why he charged what he did, his bills were like any graphic designer living in NYC – extremely high! I was fighting the same battle - paying the rent of a person living in Manhattan. Knowing what I know now - ten years later - could have saved me big back in the day. Had I taken that business to an offshore service provider, the product would have been the same, but 75% cheaper! That is a large number, and when the bottom line is now your new ceiling, every penny counts.

Business Opportunity Owners Know That Every Penny Counts

Now, I’m not saying to take all of your projects offshore.  I bleed Red, White and Blue like all of you. What I am saying is there technology providers producing talent outside of the US.  Finding specialists who do not have the steep rents or inflated egos of many you will end up working with. Maybe just one item from your budget can be taken offshore and out of country to help bolster your business opportunity bottom line.
