Truth is, I am still looking for a work-at-home employment opportunity that I could feature in this piece which charges a fee. The main problem I found is that no true work-at-home business opportunity requires you to pay money for the privilege of getting a job. You would not go into an interview and pay money to the company that hired you now, would you? I think not. I’m sure there are a few legitimate work-at-home employment opportunities out there. Honestly, stay away from them altogether if there is a fee required to get started.
My advice would be to purchase a home-based business opportunity, a network marketing business, an online business opportunity that can be worked via the Internet directly from your home, a distributorship opportunity, a licensee opportunity or even a small franchise if you desire to create your own employment. Many of these options have a fee associated in getting started. However, they’re true resources of legitimate income where you can really earn money.
If you should decide to go forward with a work at home employment opportunity consider a few things before signing on the dotted line or giving anyone your credit card information.
- Never pay any amount of money to “start working” for a company.
- Check out a company you are evaluating at the BBB (Better Business Bureau) to examine their rating and track record, as well.
The next time someone tells you that you can make a thousand dollars a week stuffing envelopes or some other dubious option, be weary of scammers. Do your research on real opportunities.
