As the marketplace gyrates under the pressure of severe change, it forces most everyone to re-evaluate or at the very least discover if they have what it takes to compete—the competitive edge, if you will.

And while this new arena in which we find ourselves can seem daunting, it also presents us with tremendous personal and business opportunity.

The current state of economic flux creates changes to be sure. But as this new phenomenon continues to unfold, it also offers each of us the worthy challenge of identifying and then grabbing ahold of opportunities that others may be unaware of and that are potentially quite profitable.

Uneasy market dynamics are cause for many of us to ask ourselves this first most important question: How do I build a business earmarked for assured growth and make it a sustainable profit center given the core skills that I have?

Finding an intelligent answer then may prompt a significant degree of personal evaluation, starting with this level of challenging inquiry: How do I establish myself in an increasingly competitive marketplace with any degree of recognition? Do I have the impressive ability to learn, replicate and gain traction quickly in whatever situation I choose?

Most people will have a degree of difficulty in being a faithful adherent to establishing the necessary capabilities in a challenging, complex and tumultuous business landscape. However, it is a worthwhile endeavor, one that should not be abandoned too readily.
